MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Professionals Association is seeking interested college-level students of Color (African American-American Indian-Asian-Latino) and Work-Challenged (income-class) families that feel they have talent, but their talent or the enhancement of their talent is going "lacking".
We define "talent" as: a capacity for achievement or success; ability (Random House).

The population disparity and lack of growth reveals some truths that we are addressing right-up-front in our quest to "Re-define", "Re-brand" and "Un-trap" those who have/are "by-design" discriminated against and held to a negative normalcy factor.
We seek to REFORM with a TRANSFORMATION for identifying and investing in "hidden talent" at the neighborhood level - Where one lives.

It is important that we note that today's college population is representative of many mixtures of races. And, as we continue to move further in this century, it will increase.

Why do we Call for YOU?
To draw attention to how disproportionately you are in the marketplace.
To draw attention to YOU that opportunities are out there, GO GET THEM.
To correct the stereotypes, broadbrushing, pitting-one-race-against another; and to expose the hypocracy that is rampart and holding YOU back.
To claim your American rights.

What will we do?
You will APPLY yourself rigorously in the areas of academics and practicum experiences.
You will engage in CASE Learning to match talent and knowledge with the "gap" in neighborhoods of enduring concentrated poverty.
You will sharpen your communication skills so you can be a one-to-one-to-many voice in the public square.
You will invest part of your day in current events that tells and/or explains the coming and goings in the public square.
You will engage in music, art, theatre to be well-rounded.
You will register to vote - encourage others to vote - and, YOU will vote.
You will look at the coming future and help ensure that you are building an infrastructure that allows you, your family and neighbors to fulfill your dreams and desires.
You will get strength and wisdom from your ancestors who have "paid-the-price" so many times; but, would not stop because they wanted to "keep HOPE alive" for you and yours - You must do the same.
You will engage in being a Scholar - a Scholar that shares his/her knowledge for the betterment of fellowmen as well as a way to navigate our society for your benefits.
